Obsidian Thunder earns every word of its title. The black wild stallion drives across the open Wyoming desert with a force and urgency that the flat, spare landscape only amplifies — no trees, no topography, no shelter from the eye, just the horse and the range and the pale sky above, the earth throwing up a spray of dust and grit at his heels as he drives forward with everything he has.
