Behind the Lens
Finding this stallion in the vastness of the Nevada desert required days of tracking and a great deal of patience. I wanted to move past the typical action shot to capture a moment of quiet, intense connection. When he finally stopped grazing and looked directly into my lens, the light was hitting just right to emphasize the texture of his coat and the wildness of his mane. There is a profound sense of wisdom and survival in the eyes of a Nevada stallion.
