The Moulton Barn — Grand Teton Fine Art Print

Moulton Barn photography rarely finds this particular image, but The Moulton Barn is Tamara Gooch's version of one of the American West's most enduring landmarks — a weathered log barn on Mormon Row wrapped in the warm amber light of a summer morning, set against a broad meadow at its most vivid early-season green. Behind it, the Grand Teton Range rises with a vertical drama that never becomes familiar no matter how often it's photographed, jagged snow-capped summits against a deep blue morning sky forming a backdrop no set designer could invent. The barn holds the frame's warm heart — its gabled roof and two small windows giving it a human scale and quiet dignity that holds its own against the geological grandeur behind it. It's one of the great pairings in American landscape photography: the human and the geological, the made and the found, the finite and the eternal. A natural companion to Wildflowers and Giants, Autumn Mirror, and The Courtship, The Moulton Barn is the most historically grounded image in the Grand Teton collection — a reminder that people have always lived and worked in the shadow of these peaks, and found it sufficient. A striking choice as Grand Teton wall art or Mormon Row fine art photography for mountain lodges, historic-themed interiors, and collectors of the American West. Available as a limited edition of 50 worldwide on ChromaLuxe Metal, Lumachrome HD TruLife Acrylic, or DuraPlaq® FloatPlaqs. Photo © copyright by Tamara Gooch.
